Are these cut-resistant gloves heat-resistant?
No, these gloves are not heat-resistant.

Can I wash these cut-resistant gloves?
Yes. We suggest machine washing the gloves using a mild detergent and keeping the temperature below 104 °F (40°C). After washing, the gloves should be hung to drip-dry.

Are these cut-resistant gloves food safe?
Yes, these NoCry cut-resistant gloves are certified food safe in accordance with EC regulation No.10/2011.

Can I use them to deflect animal bites?
These protective gloves are not designed to be puncture resistant and will most likely not protect you from animal bites.

Do they protect when using a cutting machine?
Our cut resistant gloves are designed to provide an added layer of protection when using (non-powered) hand tools, but they are not suited to be used with electrical products.

Will these protect against rose thorns and bushes?
No, these gloves are not puncture-resistant and will not offer protection against thorns. For that purpose, we offer gardening gloves.

Assistance Provided

I have a penchant for spicy food, which means I often find myself chopping onions and cloves of garlic. One day, I got a bit too enthusiastic and ended up emitting strong vapors! A friend suggested I try using "Food Gloves", so I did a quick search and decided to give them a try. They are slightly larger than expected, leaving a bit too much room at my fingertips. I would recommend considering a smaller size if possible. However, I no longer have to worry about my fingers smelling like onions and garlic, plus there is the added bonus of protecting myself from knife edges. Overall, a great purchase!

Underwhelming sharpness for a knife

After just three uses, the gloves were easily sliced by my knife. I cannot in good conscience recommend this product.

Inferior to Benriner mandoline

I have to admit, these gloves appeared to be of good quality at first glance. But after just one use (which also happened to be my inaugural attempt at using a mandoline), I noticed two holes had formed at the fingertips. The gloves were a tad too long and simply couldn't hold up against the sharp blade of the mandoline.
