I found these gloves to be just as good at protecting against cuts as the old chain style ones, although I can't say for sure because I didn't test them on purpose. Cleaning them up does take a little longer, but they do a good job without leaving any unpleasant odors. The sizing directions resulted in a snug fit for me, so I'll opt for a larger size for my next pair.

I was a bit disappointed with these gloves as they don't seem to have the reinforced fingers that were advertised. Either I received the wrong product or the product images were heavily edited to make the reinforced fingers appear more durable than they actually are. In my opinion, these gloves appear to be just like any other regular pair.

This product has spared me a few nicks, but sadly it's starting to deteriorate not due to use, but because of its low quality.
