How to choose a case

Start with what goes in it

The glasses cases hold eyewear up to 6.4 x 3.0 x 2.1 inches inside: safety glasses, sunglasses, readers, most prescription frames. Goggles need the goggles case: 7.3 x 3.9 x 3.1 inches inside. Over-glasses run wider than most frames, so measure yours first.

Then where it rides

On a belt or in the cab, the Glasses Case+ and its hard clip do the job. Out in the rain, the dust or the truck bed, the Glasses Case Pro has a water- and dirt-resistant shell, a carabiner, and a zipper pull you can work with wet or gloved hands.

Why a case

Anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings wear from the outside in: keys, grit and a shirt hem do more damage than the job does. A case keeps the grit off the lens, and the glasses cases come with a cloth that won't scratch the coating.
