Can this be used as fishing gloves to protect against spikes?

While the reinforced gloves will protect your hands from sharp elongated edges, this model is not puncture resistant or puncture proof, so sharp pointed objects such as the end of fish fins might penetrate through them. Various package sizes with inconsistent labeling.

I bought 6 pairs of these gloves as Christmas presents. They came in various packaging and some weren't labeled. Keep in mind that they are men's sizes, so they may run big for women. We got them for cleaning fish and wild game, so fingers crossed they live up to their claims!

I have a reputation for accidentally injuring myself, and this product has been a lifesaver in preventing further cuts.

Glossy, in a negative manner

I found that these gloves provide very little grip, causing objects to easily slip out of my hands, which is definitely not ideal when working with sharp knives. I highly doubt I will be using these gloves for any cutting tasks. In fact, I'm not convinced they have any practical use at all.

Pros: Variety of sizes available and highly resistant to cuts.

Smooth for carving

The gloves fit perfectly and felt comfortable. As a novice carver, I was disappointed to find that the gloves were too slippery, making it difficult to grip the knife securely. I will be returning them due to this issue.
