CutGuard Pro Stainless Steel Cut Resistant Gloves

I primarily use this for wood carving. It provides a level of protection, but it's important to note that it is not intended to prevent stabbing cuts.

I really wanted to give these gloves a higher rating, but the fit just isn't quite right. The fingers are extremely snug, making it a struggle to get them on and then having to constantly adjust them to reach the ends. Despite this, I found them to be incredibly useful when using my mandoline slicer. I was able to slice zucchini all the way to the end with ease, applying minimal pressure for super thin slices. The gloves provided excellent protection and showed no signs of wear after use. They are easy to clean with a quick hand wash, although they do take a bit longer to air dry. Overall, a solid product with just a few minor drawbacks.

Just before my gloves arrived, I experienced over 8 stabs and at least six small cuts from slips while wood carving the unusually hard basswood. Since receiving my "nobby" gloves, I've continued to slip while working on the challenging wood, but thankfully have avoided any cuts or stabs. I even ran out of band aids before the gloves arrived.
