Measure the hand, not the age

Ages are a guide. Measure across the palm: XXS fits 2.6 to 3.1 inches, XS fits 2.9 to 3.3. A loose glove slips, so pick the snug one.

A glove is not a supervisor

Cut resistant is not cut proof. These are made for a kitchen knife, a peeler or a whittling knife. They are not for power tools, and they do not replace an adult standing next to the work.

Good gloves

They work as intended but the sizing chart is off. I measured my daughter’s hands and it looked like the gloves would be slightly small, which I wanted. They came in quite a bit larger. probably an inch or more of material hanging off of her fingers while she’s trying to cut, which makes it near impossible to use proper technique (curling your fingers over and using them as a guide for the blade) every time she slides what she’s cutting forward in her fingers the gloves move out under the blade
