FACE SHIELDS
Grinding, trimmer line, the lathe, spray
Full-face protection for grinding, cutting, demo and spraying: flip-up shields on ratchet headgear, goggle-and-shield kits that seal against dust and splash, and spare visors so a scratched shield is a swap, not a new shield. Every one says what it's rated to. Every one is covered for life, no registration.

What the Z87 marks meanA face shield is secondary protection: under ANSI Z87.1 it goes over safety glasses or goggles, which is why two of these are kits. Each product page lists its marks and says what they cover.

How to choose a face shield
What the rating covers. High-velocity impact for the marked visor; splash (D3) and dust (D4, D5) where marked; UV where marked.
What it doesn't. Arc or laser light, molten metal or chemical immersion unless the mark says so. And a shield never replaces the glasses under it. How to read safety ratings
