Grip at the temples
TPR is the rubbery material on tool handles. Here it is on the temples, so the frame holds by friction instead of pressure. The nose pad is soft and adjusts.
What polarized does
A tint dims everything. A polarized lens also blocks reflected glare: the white sheet of light off a wet road or a metal roof. One caution: it can dim some LCD screens, so tilt your head to read a display.
