Misleading sizing

I had initially purchased the XS size for my kids, but it seems that they run larger and are more suitable for adults wearing a small size. Surprisingly, the gloves fit me perfectly, as I usually wear a size small to medium in work gloves. Unfortunately, they didn't fit my 10-year-old as expected.
