Are they heat resistant?
No, these gloves are not heat-resistant. However, thank you so much for the idea. i have forwarded it to the relevant team. Perhaps in the future, we can offer cut gloves that are heat resistant too. Should you have more questions, let us know at wecare@nocry.com. We would be happy to assist you.

Are they stretchable?
They might stretch a bit, but we would suggest getting the gloves that are just the right size from our size chart. If it happens that they are too big or too small, send us a message at wecare@nocry.com and we will assist you further.

Are they safe for handling electric wires?
They are not meant to be used for electrical work. The knitted cut-resistant gloves are intended to prevent cuts, nicks, and slices from mandoline slicers, peelers, graters, and kitchen, carpentry and other types of knives and blades. Can they be used for oyster shucking?
The cut resistant gloves should be suitable for oyster shucking. However, they are not fully cut-proof and are designed to reduce the likelihood of sustaining a serious injury in case of an accident. Should you have more questions, reach out to us at wecare@nocry.com.

Are they strong enough for mandolin use?
As the gloves are cut-resistant not cut-proof, it can happen that the gloves get cut by a mandolin. Although the gloves can not prevent possible injuries and it is important to still be careful while wearing them, they will reduce the chance of sustaining a serious injury. Inaccurate dimensions

These gloves are incredibly undersized. I've never encountered any issues with XL gloves not fitting properly before. However, the XL size offered here feels more like a medium, and the fingers are excessively lengthy. Despite my efforts, I was able to squeeze my hand into them, but there was nearly an entire inch of surplus fabric on both the thumb and other fingers. The sizing of these gloves is extremely disappointing.

Essential for mandolin enthusiasts

I consider myself quite cautious when it comes to handling knives, which is why I rarely encounter accidents while chopping. However, when it comes to using the mandolin, it's a completely different story. The grip that accompanies it isn't particularly effective, but these gloves are truly remarkable. With them, I can effortlessly slice cucumbers, squash, radishes, and onions until the very last bit without any harm to my fingers. Absolutely remarkable.
